Hybrid Training is it only for high level fitness level? Read on to find out

This is very interesting! Not necessarily a good interesting

A recently published news article tired making a statement that views hybrid training or at least the style of training in a very different light. It does talk about in positively for the most part but one part in particular stood out to me and made me shake my head. Some experts and now individuals have it in their mind that hybrid training is some advance form of training, apparently hybrid training is only for “Black belt” level fitness enthusiast and professional. There are exercises and programs that are harder and will require more training to achieve but hybrid training does not just encompass those high level exercises and programs.

When I stumbled across this article done by News 9 live, that was trying to define hybrid training and how it may be able to help you break through fitness plateaus. This articles refer to this method of training a combining various methods of training into one program to achieve better results this part is true. This next part; however, just made wonder what expert(s) are saying this, “many health experts don't advise taking up hybrid training until and unless you have a minimum of seven years of experience in fitness.” WHAT! That is just not right.

Where you start in a program is based on your assessments (thats it!). There is simply no reason that an individual cannot begin small steps towards any type of training and that includes hybrid training. This model of training carries with it the same type of inherent precautions that should be taken any type of fitness or athletic training program.

I do appreciate that hybrid training programs are being considered more in today’s fitness landscape. I just want people to understand that any mix method of training is consider hybrid training. You do not have to automatically go into a powerlifting and bodybuilding nor do you ever have to do that style of training, if you choose.

I personally coach clients to train many different ways and with various pieces of equipment.
